Some Bunny Loves You

Hello,
I am sharing a cute card I made using the Lili Of The Valley Bunches Of Love stamp. I think this is a really lovely image, that could be used for many different occasions. I even thought it would make a lovely thank you card for a child to give to their teacher. I coloured the image using Distress Markers and stitched around the edge of the image and backing paper using my sewing machine. I inked slightly around the DP, added some lace, ribbon and buttons. I stamped the sentiment tags also from LOTV onto kraft card using a Versafine black ink pad and then I quickly poured clear embossing powder over and heat set. I tied a bow through the tags using twine to finish.
I was pleased with how the colours worked on this card, as I usually tend to go for pastels, but I thought the darker colours gave a nice vintage feel to the card.

Faye Whittaker CAS

Hello,
Today I am sharing a couple of very quick cards I made using the new Faye Whittaker card making pads from Joanna Sheen. The images have a beautiful traditional feel to them and best of all they are super easy to put together and yet they still give you a professional looking card. I used some vintage style backing papers, some card, glue, a few gems and voila!

There is one small layer of decoupage on each card to give a little dimension, without too much work!

Card Ingredients:

  • Papers - Both Maja Design
  • Card - Papermill Direct
  • Gems - The Hobby House
  • Card making pad - Joanna Sheen
Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you like my cards.

Patchwork Balloons

Hello,

I have had a nice day crafting today, but not got much done if you know what I mean! Anyway onto todays card and I have yet another LOTV card to show you today, sorry but I do love them and they will probably feature heavily on my blog. I decided to use the Patchwork Balloon stamp and coloured it in using Promarkers and Copics, then I added a bit more definition with Prisma Pencils. I used some stickles to glitter the balloons and added some flowers and gems to finish.

Card Ingredients:

  • Stamp - Lili Of the Valley - Bunch of patchwork balloons
  • Dies - Spellbinders Labels 4
  • Dies - Memory Box - Tessatina Border - Fluffy Clouds - Classic Numbers
  • Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts - The Hobby House

LOTV New Home

Hello,

I was lucky enough to go to the Ally Pally show on Sunday with my MIL, we had a great day and came home with lots of goodies, including a few LOTV art pads. So I couldn't resist making a card today with one of my favourite images from the English Charm pad. I die cut the image using a Spellbinders rectangle and layered up with the corresponding scalloped rectangle. I added some glitter to the image and stamped a new home circular sentiment. I matted and layered using some gingham paper, then added some ribbon and gems.

You can just about see the image glittered up!

Card ingredients:

  • LOTV Art Pad - English Charm
  • LOTV Circular Sentiments - Set 7 - For You
  • Paper Pad - Wild Rose Studios - Ginghams
  • Dies - Spellbinders rectangles, scalloped rectangles and lacy circles
  • Ribbon - From stash (might have come from C&C)
  • Gems - Hobbycraft
I apologise if the photo looks a bit dull, the sun had started to go down by the time I took the photo. Thanks for looking at my card, I am entering my card into this weeks Anything Goes challenge at The Ribbon Girl.

Spring Daffodil

Hello, Today I am sharing a card using the very pretty spring daffodil stamp from Lili of the Valley. I coloured the image in using Distress Markers and matted and layered using Spellbinders dies. I usually steer clear of anything yellow, as it is one of my least favourite colours. However, I think that seeing so many spring yellow flowers has inspired me this time and I could hardly colour the daffodils any other colour could I!

Card Ingredients:
  • Daffodil Stamp - LOTV
  • Spellbinders Dies - Rectangles, squares and Fleur De Lis rectangles
  • Papers - First Edition Floral Pavilion
  • Gems - Docrafts
  • Ribbon - The Ribbon Girl
I am entering my card into this weeks Spring challenge at The Ribbon Girl and Sweet Stampin' Easter challenge.  http://www.ribbongirls.blogspot.co.uk/

Pink Petticoat CAS Baby

Hello, today I am sharing a couple of quick CAS baby cards I made yesterday afternoon, I love making baby cards for some reason. I think it has more to do with the fact that I love pretty ginghams then babies! Anyway, I used these cute images from Pink Petticoat by printing them out on plain card and then running them back through the printer using the gingham digi paper (also from Pink Petticoat). I then cut the printed images out and paper pieced them onto the plain image. I coloured the little flower using Promarkers and added shimmer with a Wink of Stella clear brush. I matted and layered onto some white textured card stock, added a few white card candi and finally layered onto a kraft card blank.

Card ingredients:

  • Paper & Digi stamp - Both from Pink Petticoat
  • Card Candi - Craftwork Cards
  • Textured card stock - American Crafts
  • Wink of Stella clear glitter brush - HobbyArt

I hope you like my cards today, thanks for looking.
